The last day at Lake Garda has arrived, and we need to start thinking about packing up and preparing for the next leg of our journey. So, we began with some swimming in the lake and spent a good amount of time on the paddleboard and in the water :-) Sara hasn't managed to paddle standing up yet, but the kids can do it, and Kenneth hasn't "dared" to try because it's more fun to watch everyone else fall into the water. But it's still fun, and perhaps we will crack the code in the next few months?
After a late lunch, we packed everything up and had one final swim in the large pool, while Kenneth watched what seemed to be an exciting finish of the Tour de France. Once everything was packed up, it was time for dinner in town. The kids were equipped with their scooters, and we walked the few kilometers to Lazise, another historically charming yet touristy town, to find a restaurant and explore a bit. It was a lovely evening with a delightful Italian dinner, which was a perfect ending to a wonderful summer week in northern Italy.
