One of those slightly practical mornings where laundry needed to be taken care of. Regardless, it's quite a project, but we managed to do the laundry, and Kenneth ingeniously strung up clotheslines from tree to tree and to the caravan so there was enough space for everything. Judge for yourself, but it kind of looks like an unauthorized camp setup!
After that, we gathered at the pool with the small slides and water spray equipment. There was a competition between Sara and Caroline to see who had the best technique for sliding the farthest on the blue surface after the 1.5-meter-long kids' slide ended! To the great amusement of both the cheering squad and the judges, who tried to disqualify Sara for unnecessary use of her arms to gain more speed ;-) A biscuit/water break in the shade was needed, so the adult guests could participate in today's morning water aerobics session - with great dance moves.
Our afternoon was dedicated to a trip to the hairdresser, where several centimeters were snipped off, greatly improving the kids' appearance (we do need to send them back to school within a reasonable timeframe). The reward was an hour in the trampoline park, which was 'wildly fun,' but quite hot in the 30+ degrees, even if it was in the shade. The rosy cheeks were cooled off with a swim, and then we met up with the others again for dinner. It's super nice that we could make overlapping holiday days work here in Croatia :-)
