We have properly settled into the campsite now. The kids can find their way to the playground (and back again :D) and know where the toilets and other facilities are, if needed. In other words, not long after finishing breakfast, they asked if they could run up to play. Awesome!
In the late morning, we headed towards Flumsenberg in Switzerland. We drove halfway up the mountain and then took a cable car to the top. However, it was a bit colder than expected up there (around 10 degrees Celsius), so when we landed in the middle of a "cloud" and couldn't see five meters ahead, we started with hot cocoa! After regaining our confidence, we began the descent down the mountain, 400 meters in altitude. It was quite exciting and occasionally very beautiful when the clouds lifted for a while. There were some funny "giant ground squirrels" that Naja wanted to bring home, but they would scream and disappear into their burrows as soon as she approached.
However, the highlight for both young and old was a toboggan run that took us the last 2 kilometers back to the bottom of the cable car. What a blast it was!
