The local Beach - Day 21

(English version below)

With the sun shining brightly from the morning, we had a craving for more beach time. We decided to walk down to the beach where we were staying, which was about 1 km away. It was far enough for the gang, especially when we had to carry the paddleboard and swim fins through the scorching heat with a sandy path for the last stretch. Unfortunately, it was quite windy at the water, resulting in high waves, and the sea became very deep very quickly. So it wasn't really a child-friendly (or senior-friendly) beach. However, we still enjoyed a few good hours there. The kids put on their life vests and had fun playing in the shoreline, which brought smiles to their faces. Water just has that special effect!

When we couldn't bear the sun and heat any longer, we found a restaurant nestled among the trees. We sat under the shelter of some thatched roofs, on a concrete floor with plastic tables, chairs, and tablecloths, and enjoyed incredibly tasty food! There was also a small children's area where they could play table football for a few extra euros.

After the walk back, everyone had warmed up again, so we had to take another dip in the pool. And to someone's dismay, dad won the competition for making the biggest splash.
