The local sandy beach

(English version below)

Den sidste fulde dag her i Lamaforca.

The last full day here in Lamaforca. As usual, we need to pack up, but since we're not leaving for the ferry in Bari until tomorrow evening, we have to figure out how to spend tomorrow as well. The weather is expected to be rainy for part of the day tomorrow, so we've decided to visit a Safari park (similar to Knuthenborg, we think) for an eventful day. Therefore, we didn't go anywhere today, except for a longer walk down to the nearest sandy beach, carrying all our beach gear.

The water was a beautiful clear turquoise blue, although a bit rocky in the first few meters before the lovely sandy bottom, and the water temperature has dropped significantly. On the sides of the small cove, there were cliffs and small caves, so we used our snorkeling gear to explore. It was quite cold, and the little ones didn't last very long in the water before seeking warmth on the beach. Just like on our other trips to the sea, they played in the sand and water's edge with whatever was available. They caught various small creatures and mussels with their swim fins – it was quite a fun adventure.

When we ran out of water and our packed lunch was finished, we headed back and managed to squeeze in a few more rounds on the water slides. Georg even dared to try the "green" one, and they were all full of adrenaline. The evening was spent at the pool bar after everything was packed up, and it was quite cozy because the incredibly hot playground was put to good use. We end the week with fond memories of this area, which has left a stronger impression on us as tourists compared to the area around Naples – the landscapes, people, and overall atmosphere have been truly captivating. Both experiences have been exciting and have given us fantastic memories to carry forward.
