Naja wished for warmer water to swim in, so we had to find that! However, there was a requirement from the parents that it should be a maximum of 3 hours, so we had to come up with something else as well. We settled on the Villacher Alpine Road, which is a winding mountain road with various stops and things to see on the way up/down. A beautiful journey (there's also a fee, but it was included in our card), and we chose to stop at a cliff where there was a drop of about 400 meters! Not everyone made it to the edge to look down, but it was impressive.
The next stop was at a natural playground and a small restaurant where we had lunch with a beautiful view over the valley. Then we headed to Drautal Perle, a mixed indoor and outdoor swimming pool, where we also had free access. A nice place with a heated outdoor pool with a view of the mountains. It was also nice indoors, but we only used it briefly.
On the way back, we had to do some shopping again because despite the fridge's decent size, it seems we can only shop for two days, and then we have to go again. We got some delicious salmon steaks, but we were somewhat disappointed when our otherwise reliable electric grill gave out in the middle of dinner :-( but we managed, and we still have a little gas left, so hopefully, it can last until we get home?
